Cheer
The Memphis Jr Jackets Cheer program is a sideline and competitive cheer program for athletes of all levels. We offer a flag sideline only for our beginners ages 5-7 who want to see what cheer is about. For the athletes who want to take it up a notch we offer Sideline/Competitive teams for grades K-6th. Our Group of amazing coaches will help guide your athlete, no matter experience, through the challenging rewarding sport of cheerleading.
In-House Flag Cheer
In-House Flag Cheer- Flag Cheer is for beginner athletes that would like to explore the sport of cheerleading. It is available for athletes 5-7 and in K-2nd Grade. You must still be 7 as of August 1st, 2025. This is a sideline ONLY cheer team. Athletes will cheer at the flag football games only. This cost includes a shirt and skort.
Mascot Cheer
Mascot Cheer- Our Mascot Cheer Team is for athletes in grades K-2nd This team is a sideline and competitive team. They will be required to cheer at all tackle football games and also compete in the NYFL leagues Mini and Mega cheer competitions.
Athletes will receive Shell, Skirt, and Warmups.
Briefs and bodysuits are required and are available at an additional cost.
Freshman Cheer
Our Freshman Cheer Team is perfect for young athletes in 3rd and 4th grade who are excited to build skills, confidence, and team spirit. This program offers a combination of sideline and competitive cheer experiences.
Cheerleaders will support our tackle football teams by cheering at all games throughout the season, while also training and performing in competitions. The team will compete in the NYFL League Invitational (Freshman and JV divisions only), as well as Mini and Mega cheer competitions.
Athletes will receive Shell, Skirt, and Warmups.
Briefs and bodysuits are required and are available at an additional cost.
JV Cheer
Our JV Cheer Team is designed for athletes in 5th and 6th grade who are eager to build skills, confidence, and team spirit. This program combines both sideline and competitive cheer, offering a well-rounded experience.
Cheerleaders will support our tackle football teams by cheering at all games throughout the season, while also training for and participating in competitions. The team will compete in the NYFL League Invitational (Freshman and JV divisions only), as well as Mini and Mega cheer competitions.
This team provides a fun and supportive environment where athletes can develop cheer fundamentals, strengthen teamwork, and grow as performers.
**Athletes must not be age 13 prior to Dec 1st, 2026.**
Athletes will receive Shell, Skirt, and Warmups.
